We already have a weekly maintenance cleaning service contract for our business, why is it necessary to pay for additional services for the floor? Doesn't the janitor mop the floors every time?

While it is true that mopping removes dust/dirt and minor stains such as coffee or drink spills, the continuous foot traffic and moving of chairs will leave scratches and grooves on top of the floor surface. The purpose of a bi-annual stripping and waxing service is to remove the layers of stubborn dirt, stains, scratches and grooves on the tile or the wax on top of the VCT tiles and reapply coats of wax so that your floors will literally look as good as new.

How often should we clean the carpet?

It depends on the traffic and how well everybody maintains it. Anywhere between every three months to a maximum of once a year.

What is the difference between hiring someone and a company?

A company will have their own insurance for your facility and repair or replace any damages. A company has all the tools and training necessary for the work with a source of professionals. A company relieves you of the need to find new employees, interview them, hire them, train them in cleaning techniques, and supervise their cleaning.

What is the best way to extend the life of your carpets and floors?

The number one source of carpet stains takes place in the process of replacing the trash liners.

The best thing you can do is to avoid throwing away any liquids in the trash cans.

Not only will you avoid stains on your floors and carpets, but your working environment will be exponentially healthier and cleaner.

Liquids in trash cans are especially hazardous because while they drip to the bottom of the trashcan, they collect bacteria from everything else that had been previously thrown away.

Furthermore, having well-maintained floors will in fact increase the life of your floors. The stripping-waxing process not only removes older scratches and stains from the surface, but the new coat of wax will ensure that future scratches and stains remain within the wax and do not reach the flooring material underneath.

I've noticed that the my desk doesn't get cleaned under my folders, why is that, and what else don't your workers clean?

For many reasons, our policy is that workers are instructed not to disturb items left on desks. For best results, it is advisable that the surface area of a desk be left as clear and unobstructed as possible.

Furthermore, we also do not clean electronic surfaces, such as key-pads, alarm keypads, printer screens, monitors, etc.
